"Customers who have visited my studio were always on the lookout for an alternative to the traditional wedding dress," said Ms. Bizy.
The milliner, an entrepreneur Annandale has been collecting for over a decade old fabrics, beads and buttons, and works with a seamstress on her creations.
"Sometimes a client will be my wedding dress of her grandmother, and if the material is strong enough, we will build this into their new wedding dress," she said.
But the interpretation is a challenge.
"Waist of the time were incredibly small, and wedding dresses were much more modest.
"I often say (bride vintage) is neck to toe, with a train of Glebe."
Ms. Bizy is often asked by clients to the style of the entire wedding party, including hats and bouquets.
"I want my wife to have the most interesting Showstopper clothes that are different from the rest.
"This should not be extremely expensive, it's just a good eye for style and detail."
